As a consumer-controlled organization, at least 51% of our staff and board are people with disabilities. indiGO staff provide information, training, and support to people with disabilities in making informed decisions about disability-related needs.
All services are consumer-controlled and each individual decides which services they wish to participate in while working with staff to establish goals and determine steps to meet those goals.
indiGO is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to join our team full time. This position does not have a regularly set schedule, but must work a minimum of 32 hours per week. The CPS will provide person-centered peer support services that build on the values of respect, safety, non-judgment, and hope.

At indiGO, we empower people living with disabilities to thrive independently. We are a person-centered organization providing support services within our community. indiGO is currently seeking a part-time or full-time Independent Living Specialist (ILS).
The ILS will provide person-centered independent living skills training services that build on the values of respect, safety, non-judgment, and hope. The ILS will work with consumers in the Ashland and Bayfield County Comprehensive Community Service Program (CCS) to enhance and gain skills such as socialization, money management, accessing housing resources, healthy eating, physical activity, organization, and encouraging positive coping skills, etc.

This person will provide administrative support to the office’s day-to-day operations while creating a welcoming environment for consumers and visitors.
Your contributions will include:
• Greet visitors and provide exceptional customer service.
• Perform administrative duties, including data entry.
• Manage indiGO’s service inquiry communications with patience and an empathetic approach including walk-ins, emails, and phone calls.
• Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail.
To be successful in this opportunity, you will need:
• Previous office and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to handle situations with a high level of empathy, integrity, trust, and confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
